Ipsy August Glam Bag Review

Ipsy is a $10 a month Beauty Subscription! You receive five deluxe sample or full sized products from a variety of different brands in a super cute makeup bag.

I fell in love with the makeup bag for this month! It’s super cute, and I love the material.

The first product I received in my bag was the It Haircare 12-in-One Leave in Treatment. This product retails at $6.

I’m always like “How do they know?” when I recieve products that are supposed to repair dry and damaged hair. They’ve sent me many different products that repair, that I am always super blessed by.

This product is prety cool because it clames to have twelve different benefits including repairing dry and damaged hair, untangling, restores body, adds silk, etc. I haven’t used this product tons yet(because I just received it) but from what I’ve seen, it definitely benefits.

The next product I recieved was the NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in the shade “Gleam.” This wasn’t full sized, but I did the math and retailed for about $6.

I already own this illuminator in another shade, so I’ve tried this product before. This is really a great product. It’s pigmented and goes on well. My only complaint about this product is that it irritates my skin a little. However, it’s been a little while since I’ve tried the product, so maybe I”ll have to give it another shot.

The third product I received was a Lord and Berry Matte Crayon Lipstick in the shade “Intimacy.” I believe it’s full sized, and the full sized product is $20.

This product was definitely my favorite product I received in my bag. It glided on super nice, and the color was just gorgeous!

The next product I received Rodial Smokey Eye Pen in the shade “Black.” This eyeliner was full sized and retailed for $21.

This is probably my least favorite item I received, unfortunately.  First, it didn’t stay on to well. I came off super easy. Secondly, I didn’t like the color. By now, I have like a million black eyeliners. However, you may like it if they haven’t tried a lot of black liners, so don’t be to disappointed if you received or are receiving this.

The final product I received was a Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner in the scent “Vanilla Coconut Cream.” This product can be bought for $10.

Honestly, I’m tied over this product. The product is great. It quickly takes care of chapped lips in a second. However, I really want to receive makeup in my Ipsy bag. It doesn’t have a tint or anything. If you don’t mind getting a lip balm, you will definitely enjoy this one though.

Overall, the value was $63, which is incredible for a $10 subscription. Pretty much every single Ipsy bag has had a high value, even up to $80. I would definitely recommend it, and I have gotten many great items that I use all the time.
