Sephora Favorites “Give Me Some Lip Review”

I recently went to Sephora and picked up their new “Give Me Some Lip.” I’ve been meaning to buy one of the Sephora Favorites Lip Sets for ages. However, they always ran out of stock before I got around to buying one.

What made me really want this set was when I saw that there was a full-sized Smashbox liquid lipstick in the set. The set did cost $28, and the Smashbox Liquid Lipstick is $24. I’m in love with Smashbox liquid lipsticks, and it was a shade I didn’t own, so it was a no brainer for me.

I wasn’t able to find this set online at Sephora, but you may be able to find it in stores if it hasn’t already sold out.

The Smashbox Liquid Lipsick came in the shade “Stepping Out.” Just as I mentioned earlier, Smashbox liquid lipsticks are my favorite. They may be even my all time favorite liquid lipstick brand! This lipstick isn’t drying at all, but stays on FOREVER! However, one of my favorite things about this liquid lipstick is about the applicator. Most liquid lipstick applicators are rounded at the end, but this one has a tip that is great for precision.

The next product in the box is the Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in the shade “Rose.” This lip treatment is deluxe sample sized. It has a slight red glossy tint to it and is a great option for moisturizing your lips and such.

The third product was a deluxe sample sized Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in the shade “Chihuahua.” This is such a beautiful color on the lips! Plus the liquid lipstick is incredibly moisturizing , probably the most moisturizing liquid lipstick I’ve tried. If you do buy any of these, I would recommend lining it (Especially if you have lip creases).

A full-sized Lancome Juicy Shaker in the shade “Boom Meringue.” This retails for $21. This product is an incredible moisturizing lip oil. It’s a little like a gloss. This product doesn’t contain a lot of color, but I don’t expect that from a lip oil. However, I would definitely recommend this as a great lip oil option.

The next product I received was a Nars Satin Lip Pencil in the shade “Rikugien.” This also came deluxe sample sized. I love this product! It’s a great natural option for a gorgeous satin finish.

The final product in this set is the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in the shade “Lovecraft.” This is another incredible lipstick. It’s super pigmented, and “Lovecraft” is a gorgeous color! My only complaint about it is it can be a little drying.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this set. It’s totally worth the price and is full of great products. I’ve also included some swatches below. I tried to keep the colors accurate the best I can.

Feel free to leave suggestions for blog posts below. Thanks for reading!

  1. Okay those colors are giving me life! I can’t wait to try the smashbox lippy. Especially after knowing it has the pointed applicator tip! Why can’t all products do that? Haha great post!
