Budget that Beauty – Profusion Contour Case

Today, I have another huge beauty product steal: the Profusion Contour Kit! I love a good deal, and I am sure you do too! So if you’re looking for another drugstore deal, then this post is for you!The Profusion Contour Kit retails for $6.99 and can be found at Target, Profusion’s site, and many other places. I had never tried anything from Profusion, so I wasn’t 100% sure how I would like it. I actually didn’t think I was going to like it at all, but I was happily surprised.

The first thing I love about the palette is the blendability. I realized I’ve had a huge problem for about the last two years with blending my contour (Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gotten better… just some palettes still trip me up), so I usually stayed/stay away from contour palettes and used bronzers instead. Maybe it’s just because I don’t have the right good quality palettes. However, this palette blended out so flawlessly that I had no harsh lines at all. I would even recommend this palette for a makeup beginner, because it’s so forgiving.

The contour and highlight shades were very pigmented, and if I may, full coverage even. I noticed that putting some of the “Beige Highlight,” which is a gorgeous banana shade, on certain sections of my face took away a lot of redness. It worked so nicely on top of my everyday concealers and foundations and brightened under the eyes.A little bit definitely goes a long way too. The only downside to this palette is when you dip your brush in, there is a lot of powder. I hit pan pretty quickly on this palette with the matte highlight shade, “Beige Highlight.” However, I usually do go a little crazy with matte highlight shades, and they are always the first to run out for me.

Using the shades “Light Contour” and “Beige Highlight”

The undertones and colors are very nice for my skin tone too. I pretty much just use the shades “Light Contour” and “Beige Highlight,” so I think this would even be nice for a range of tones. Here’s the pros and cons!

Pros:

Great Price

Pigmented

Blendable

Easy to work with

Beautiful tones with a decent range

High coverage

Cons:

Powdery at times

Product can be used up quickly

I definitely will be grabbing for this palette very often. The quality is top notch, and it’s one of my new favorites! Overall to me, this palette is a huge steal, so make sure to pick one up here!
