Tassels for Days or Just for a Short Time?

Tassels were very in trend during the 1920s, and I have since seen them go in and out of trend. Recently, I am pleased to say that I’ve seen tassels in quite a few other places. From along the arm of leather jackets to tiny ones on shoes, people have been obsessed with this new fad. Continue reading “Tassels for Days or Just for a Short Time?”

The Perfect Red Dress (Under $11!)

You guys already know…. I love wearing red, particularly red dresses! Well today, I have the perfect red dress for those on a budget!

This super cute dress is from Forever 21 and currently costs $10.90. It is available in four colors including Dusty Blue, Black, Red, and Mustard. I love pieces like these that can be dressed both up and down, and the material is cool and comfortable – perfect for spring and the summer season coming up!

I paired this dress with a pair of Holographic platform sandals from Nasty Gal. These shoes were discontinued, but Nasty Gal does sell many similar pairs (check out one very similar pair here). One thing to keep in mind before ordering from Nasty Gal is that when I received these shoes, they were all scratched up and did not look new. The sizing did not seem accurate either. The box was dented, so maybe someone got into them before it got to me. However, their prices are very low, and their products are very cute. It’s definitely something to keep in mind before ordering from Nasty Gal.

Finally to top off this look, I threw my hair up into a messy bun and curled a few strands. I did NOT see myself as the kind of person who would like a messy bun look, but I was definitely feeling it!
