Tarte Shape Tape Concealer Review

Recently, I’ve had a pretty bad obsession with concealers. One of the reasons I’ve really loved concealers lately, is because I heard of the no foundation “diet(I actually have no idea what it is called haha).” The no foundation “diet” is basically where you don’t wear foundation on a regular basis, and you only wear concealer on the spots that really need it. It’s supposed to really clear up your skin. I don’t always do this, but I’ve tried to cut out foundation a little more, and on an ordinary day, I might just wear concealer only. The Tarte Shape Tape is one of my favorite concealers out there, and I decided to review it today.

Red on Red

“When in doubt, wear red.” Red is definitely my go to color. For me, putting on red lipstick, dying my hair red, or wearing a red dress is an instant confidence booster. I’m obsessed with this all red outfit!

Can we take a moment to appreciate this dress that Dezzal sent me to review? It’s honestly one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen. It’s delicate and beautiful, by at the same time, bold and sassy. If you’re looking  for a killer dress, this is the one.

The material is comfortable and pretty high in quality. The tiny details on the lace are absolutely gorgeous. There’s a few spots were threads came loose, but overall it is an incredible dress.

I paired this gorgeous dress with a Lime Crime Velvetine in the shade “New Americana.” It’s absolutely gorgeous, and the product is really good! I’ll be posting a full review of it later on.

March Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Hello my dears! I know I’ve been a little bit neglectful in posting blog posts, but my schedule has calmed down quite a bit, and I should be back to my normal posting schedule.

Anyways… today’s blog post is a review of my March Ipsy Glam Bag. Ipsy is a beauty subscription service for which you pay $10 dollars a month. They then send you a curated bag of makeup, hair care, and/or skin care based on your preferences.

This was actually one of my favorite Ipsy bags I’ve received. When I first signed up for Ipsy, I wasn’t in love with what I was getting. However, my bags have really improved over time, and I’m super stoked to show you what’s in this one.

Firstly, I thought the bag itself was really cute. I loved the color and design. Plus it was bigger, so you could fit bigger things in it when traveling.

Now to the actual contents. The first item I received was a Tarte Lip Paint in the shade “Rose.” I was super stoked to see this in my bag, as I really love the lip paints. It was a pinky nude and such a gorgeous color. This product was deluxe sized and had a value of around $8.

The next item I received was an Mprincess eyeshadow in the shade “Chestnut.” I’ve always enjoyed trying new makeup brands, so I was also excited to see this in my bag. The shadow was super soft and blendable, so that got me even more excited. The color wasn’t super unique, but it was still a beautiful product. The full size version retails for $15, and I think it was full sized.

The third item I received was a So Susan Cosmetics Luminizing blush. Andddd let me just tell you that I was super excited to see this. I’ve been really obsessed with red/orange toned natural blushes lately. This was just what I was looking for. The product wasn’t super pigmented, but it was just enough where it would give you a natural blushed look. This item was full sized and retails for $23.

The next item I received was a Chella Cosmetics Brow Highlighter Crayon in the Shade “Ivory Lace.” This kind of reminded me of Benefit’s High Brow. I also enjoyed this product, though it was a little darker than I would have hoped. However, I have super fair skin(I am not as tanned as I look in the picture), and it still worked for me. This product was full sized and retailed for $18.

The final item I received was a Eva Nyc Hair Primer. I tried this product out, and I didn’t notice a huge difference, but it did seem to make my hair slightly softer. This product was deluxe sample sized and retailed for around $2.50.

Overall, this was one of my favorite Ipsy bags. If you aren’t already signed up for Ipsy, you should totally sign up through this link. I do not earn a commission for sign ups, but I do earn points towards products.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my Ipsy Glam Bag! Don’t forget to follow for more blog posts like this one.

Colourpop Pressed Pigment Eyeshadow Review

Recently, I was given the wonderful opportunity to attend Generation Beauty. Generation Beauty is a beauty convention where many beauty lovers attend to meet brands and try out products. Brand sponsors also came and passed out deluxe to full sized products. One of my favorite booths was Colourpop. Colourpop let you pick four of their Pressed Powder Shadows for free and gave you a pallete to put them in. They had several of their normal shades and a few shades made exclusively for Generation Beauty.
